TAIWAN E VISA
A Taiwanese E Visa, launched in 2016, is an electronic visa that facilitates the process of obtaining Taiwan travel authorization. It can be accessed exclusively online and removes the need to present an application for an embassy visa in person.
An authorized online Taiwanese visa is issued as a single E Visa entry that allows the holder to enter the ROC once for up to 30 days for a short stay. For tourism or business purposes, the majority of qualified people may apply for a Taiwanese E Visa.
Taiwanese visa requirements state that all people who are eligible for an online visa must be in possession of a passport with a minimum validity of six months from the date of entry to Taiwan, one or two blank pages apart.
The Taiwan E Visa application protocol requires the pre-registration of an online application. This simple form must be completed with basic personal details, passport and travel information, and different supporting documentation must be given, depending on the intention of the visit.
A copy of the approved E Visa for Taiwan will be sent to the traveler's email address once the traveler submits the form and it is processed correctly.

TAIWAN VISA ON ARRIVAL
Taiwan's visa policy currently states that a few nationalities are eligible to apply for a visa upon arrival. Persons who are citizens of these eligible countries can obtain a visa in accordance with existing legislation upon arrival at the designated port of entry in Taiwan, as well as for holders of emergency and temporary passports issued by visa-exempt countries. It is necessary for eligible travelers to reach the country via Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to receive a Taiwanese visa upon entry, as it is the only airport on the island that provides this option. Once there, they must wait in line to collect an application form in an immigration queue, which they would then need to complete with personal information, visa, and travel details. Holders of emergency and temporary passports must pay a mandatory fee before the visa can be applied for approval.
The approved visa upon arrival provides for a maximum stay of 30 days in Taiwan, irrespective of the nationality of the traveler.
