For business, work, or educational purposes: You need to acquire a visa if you wish to travel to Canada for education purposes or work or business purposes as it needs permission from the Canadian government and needs a lot of procedures to be followed for the same.

Visa application.
Application for a visa for Canada requires you to download the form for visa application for the online site of the same, fill the form with all the required information asked and submit the form with all the necessary documents at the nearest Visa Application Center. You can even apply for your visa online and obtain an electronic visa to visit Canada.
Book your appointment.
Once you have submitted your visa application form for Canada, you need to book your appointment with the nearest Visa application center for the ‘ Biometric Information’ process which includes the photo and fingerprints of the applicant to be taken for identification and security purposes.
If your family members are also applying for a Canadian visa then you need to book individual appointments for all the members wishing to obtain a visa for Canada as a citizen of Finland.
Pay the application fees.
Once you have submitted the application forms along with all the supporting documents and submitted your photograph and fingerprints, you now need to pay the fee of your application for a Canadian visa as a Finland citizen.

Once you have completed the whole process of your visa application for Canada as a citizen of Finland, you now have to wait for the approval of your visa application. Remember to fill in all the details correctly as wrongful information or incorrectly filled application form will be immediately rejected by the immigration officers at the embassy.

The receipt has a unique tracking number that can be used to track the status of the approval of the visa application form of the applicant by the immigration officers at the embassy.
After your application, your visa will be sent to the embassy to the immigration officers for approval. Once approved by the immigration officers, you can collect your visa from the visa application center you applied at or the visa will be delivered at the registered residential address.

This whole process of visa application takes a maximum time of around 72 hours or 3 days. The time might even delay sometimes due to national holidays, the holiday season, or due to huge demand for visa confirmations.
If you are traveling for tourism purposes from Finland to Canada then you do not require a visa. All you need is a Canada Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) that allows citizens of a few select countries to enter Canada without a visa.
The documents required for the application of a Canada eTA are a valid passport of the traveler, proof of being a citizen of Finland, a valid e-mail address for all the updates related to your eTA, and a valid source of payment.
