COVID-19 GUIDELINES IF VISITING TANZANIA

Healthcare facilities in Tanzania can be a struggle during a healthcare crisis. There were times during the Covid-19 outbreak when hospitals in Dar es Salaam were full because of the high volume of Covid-19 cases. Limited hospital capacity throughout Tanzania could end in severe delays for emergency medical care.

Some of the entry and exit requirements in Tanzania during Covid-19 are as follows:

  • Tanzania has reopened most of the transportation facilities including Airports and Borders.
  • All the travelers including foreigners or returning residents whose countries or airlines require them to give negative testing for COVID-19 as a condition for traveling are required to present a certificate on arrival at the airport.
