- The Bahrain eVisa is an online visa, introduced in 2016, that allows eligible citizens to travel to Bahrain for tourism or business purposes for short stays.
- To allow travelers to quickly get a visa in advance and save time from waiting for a visa on arrival, the Bahrain General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residency (NPRA) launched the Bahrain eVisa application.
- Depending on nationality, the E Visa for Bahrain is available as both a single and multiple online entry visas. The single entry E-visa enables the holder to visit Bahrain once for a span of up to 2 weeks (3 months for UK citizens only) whereas for a maximum stay of 30 days per visit, the multiple entry Bahrain online visa enables the holder to enter multiple entries.
- The validity of the Bahrain Tourist Online Visa starts when the traveler reaches Bahrain. Applicants have 30 days to reach Bahrain from the date of approval of the E Visa. It is appropriate to apply for an online Bahrain visa at least five business days before the anticipated date of arrival.
- Eligible citizens can fill out a Bahrain visa application form online which has few simple steps and require the personal and passport details of the applicant.
- Electronic visa holders are required to enter Bahrain via Bahrain International Airport. Bahrain cannot be reached via the online Bahrain Tourist Visa via the King Fahad Causeway.
